Although no baptism has been found for Charles ELWICK I believe he is the son of Charlotte ELWICK nee CLARK and Charles DIGWEED.

Charlotte is living with Charles DIGWEED in the 1841 and 1851 Census.
On Charlotte's death certificate of 1857 the informant is Charles ELWICK of Sherborne St John.
